THE CANADIAN AMBASSADOR’S OFFICIAL RESIDENCE
The Department of Foreign Affairs and International Trade (DFAIT) commissioned WASSEF to be the Host Country Consultant for the survey and renovation of the Canadian Ambassador's Residence. WASSEF took responsibility for the architectural and engineering survey report, then the renovation's architectural/ engineering design and construction documents. WASSEF assisted DFAIT in the evaluation process for the selection of contractors and assumed project management to ensure that the residence meets the Canadian building code as well as local Egyptian standards, with a priority to health, safety and security, and the use of local materials in addition to Canadian products.
