The joint team of H2L2/WASSEF and ARTEC, the specialist theater consultant, designed an exceptional space for the Students Performance Art Programs that would complement the wonderful character of studying at the American University in Cairo. Inside, the double-wall and reflectors beneath catwalks support the finely-tuned acoustics in a room that can achieve total sound isolation as well as total darkness. The auditorium has 300 custom seats surrounding a thrust stage, creating a theatrical setting of unparalleled intimacy and acoustic excellence. The team provided complete construction and technical documents, construction supervision and project management of this exceptional theater.
