Hesni Group observed significant deficiencies in the factory concrete skeleton caused by a possible shortage in the concrete strength. WASSEF were called upon by Hesni owners for a technical consultancy and the preparation of a structural integrity study for the investigation of Factory Building #1, constructed in 1982 at their main industrial campus in 10th of Ramadan, Egypt. The target was to propose a rigorous testing program carried on by a certified laboratory and obtaining recommendations for strengthening works to be followed in the repair of the existing concrete works.
